A function (sometimes callesd a mapping) is a relation in which no two different ordered pairs have the same x-coord­inate
Функція - сукупн­ість, котра не має твох однакових пов'язаних пар точок пов'язених зі значенням х

Vertical Line Test
We need draw all posible vertical lines on the graph of a relation, the relation is a function if each line cits the graph no more than once.

Метод Вертик­альних Ліній
Нам необхідно провести всі можливі вертик­альні лінії: співві­дно­шення вважається функцією, якщо лінії перети­нають графік не більше 1 разу.

Algebraic Test
If a relation is given as an equation, and the substi­tution of any value for x results in one and only one value of y, we have a function.

Алгебр­аїчний спосіб перевірки
Якщо матема­тичне співві­дно­шення, подане рівнянням, має лише одне відповідне значення y до х - це функція.
