Media Format Rip Quality (In descending quality)

Cam Quality. There is a TC (telecine) machine that does the work of copying the film digitally from the reels. The sound and picture quality are very good.
HDTS
Cam Quality. Filmed in an empty cinema with the help of a profes­sional camera, TS (Telesync) makes use of an external source of audio such as an audio jack.
HD/HQ-CAM
Cam Quality.
 

Audio Codecs

AAC
Designed to be the successor of the MP3 format. AAC is commonly used for stereo sound i.e. 2-channel audio
Dolby Digita­l/AC3
Most common multi-­channel format. 6 channel 5.1 format means that it uses 5 speakers and one subwoofer to play audio.
DTS
Similar to AC3.
TrueHD
Dolby’s successor to AC3. Is lossless and supports eight channels.
DTS-HD MA
DTS's successor. It's lossless and supports eight channels.

Codecs (Video Encoding Formats)

H.264/AVC
AKA: x264, H264
H.265/HEVC
AKA: x265, H265 Successor to x264. 75%-50% smaller file size with same quality.
AV1
Even better than x265, but requires powerful hardware
