Definition & Concept

Leisure
Free time for indivi­duals to spend as they please.
Recreation
Pursuit engaged upon during leisure time. Can include activities as diverse as watching television to holidaying abroad.
Tourism
Activities of persons travelling to a destin­ati­on& staying in outside their usual enviro­nment tempor­arily for less than 1 year for leisure and business purposes.

Classi­fic­ation of Travellers

Elements of geography

Spatical scale
- Used for describing with large approx­imation the size of a area.

Intern­ational Scale:
The Dominant flow would be from North to South. (UK, South Africa, Korea)

National scale:
The identi­fic­ation of a country’s transport networks and tourist regions, population distri­bution.

Regional Scale:
Cities to countr­yside (K.L ke N9)

Local Scale:
Day trip (short distance) (Cheras ke Langat)
