Type 1

Condition: something is possible and likely to happen
Forming: if + Simple present + will future
If I find her address, I’ll send her an invita­tion.
  

Type 2

Condition: something is possible but unlikely to happen.
Forming: if + Simple past + Condit­ionel 1 (would­+in­fin­itve)
If I found her address, I would send her an invita­tion.
  

Type 3

Condition: something is impossible to happen
Forming: if + Past perfect + Condit­ionel 2 (would­+ha­ve+­p.p.)
If I had found her address, I would have sent her an invita­tion.
