Dissatisfaction with the british rule:

Arms Act 1878
Vernacular Press Act 1878
Ilbert Bill 1883
This act disallowed (kinda banned) Indians from possessing
/having arms(not hands wala arms, weapons)
This act allowed the government to forcefully take away the assets of newspapers.
This bill allowed the european subjects to be tried by Indian judges and magistrates (matlab indian judges european logo ko judge kr skte the and saza bhi de sakte the.)

Like their printing presses if anything objectionable was published (against the british rule ofc.)
But white people wanted that this bill should be withdrawn. Bill withdraw nahi hua par it was enacted in 1884 but in a severely compromised state (matlab bahut saare provisions which were for the good of indians were removed)
