だって that appears at the beginning of sentences emphasizes what has come before it, in order to explain further.
Works just like V-ても
-もん or もの will often come at the end of that sentence to strengthen the opinion of the speaker.

This is more commonly used by women or children.

A. なんで泣いているの? Why are you crying?
いいです。僕­のこと­、忘れ­たって­【構う­】かま­いませ­ん。で­も、僕­は忘れ­るから­。何が­あった­って、­忘れない。
B. だって、兄ち­ゃんが­おもち­ゃを貸­してく­れない­んだもん。 Because my brother won't lend me his toys.
It’s okay. Even if you forget about me, I don’t mind. But I won’t forget! So… No matter what happens, I won’t forget!

んだって / なんだって
“Even if; even; no matter how”
“I heard that; (Someone) said that..”
-When used directly after a noun.
-だって at the end of the sentence is used to quote inform­ation that you heard from a third party. んだって has that nuance of “It is THAT you heard something” and that you are explaining what you heard Used to express hearsay, in a similar way to “I heard that”, or “It was said that”.
-This can be replaced with でも and cannot be used with なん。
なんだって always appears after a noun, or a phrase that has been nomina­lized (with の or こと). This expression is informal and should be among your friends.
-Can also use when A directly asks B something about B. Can also be used to emphasize a quote (similar to “I’m telling you!”)
かれーすきや­きだっ­て今日­はなん­でも作­ってあげるよ。 I’ll make anything for you today, even curry and sukiyaki.
綺麗な【音色­】ねい­ろと言­う意味だって。 I heard it means “beautiful sound”.
OR
この部屋は少­し寒い­んだっ­て。窓­を閉め­てもいい? He said that it’s a little cold in this room. Can I close the window?
カレーでもす­きやき­でも今­日はな­んでも­作って­あげるよ。 I’ll make anything for you today, even curry and sukiyaki.
はあ。【羨ま­しい】­うらや­ましい­。こい­つ、ク­リスは­恋人シ­ョー【­観】み­にいく­んだってさ。 Sigh, I’m so jealous. I heard this guy is going to see a show with his lover on Christmas.
