-Ask for affirmation "Right?" |
-Seeking agreement. Works just like ね but more pushy. More expectant of a direct answer. |

Phrase + でしょう / でしょ
-When speculating something "Probably; I assume" |
-Usually subjective |
だろう can also be used in writing; thus, it is not inclusive to only used by males |

明日は雨が降るでしょう。It will probably rain tomorrow. |
VS |
雨が降ります。 It will rain. (Forecast does not use this as it sounds a lot more certain. Thus, でしょう is used.) |

B. あいつのことだから、いつもどう理おくれるだろ。 Since we are talking about her, she'll probably be late as usual. |
B. その本は【薄い】うすいですから、１日で読めるでしょう。 That book is thin so you can probably read it in a day. |
