            NAS: Network Attached Storage
        
                        
                                                                                    
                                                                                            A NAS device (“appliance”), usually an integrated processor plus disk storage, is attached to a TCP/IP-based network (LAN or WAN), and accessed using specialized file access/file sharing protocols.
