Electricity (Topics 1-3) Cheat Sheet (DRAFT) by

Cheat Sheet for Electricity quiz on topics 1-3

This is a draft cheat sheet. It is a work in progress and is not finished yet.

Static Electricity

Static electricity is caused by the movement of electrons. It is due to the stored charge on an item (imbalance of charges).
It is usually produced by friction.
Examples include: rubbing your hair with a balloon and rubbing your feet across a carpet.
The charges are stationary/stored.

The Law of Charges

1) Unlike charges attract
2) Like charges repel
3) Charged objects attract uncharged (neutral) objects
