Engine Fire During Start

Engine master

Fuel selector

Fuel pump

Cabin heat
Off
If safe to do so, inform ATC
Battery master
Off
Brakes
Off (if level ground)
Abandon aircraft taking the fire exting­uisher.
If safe to do so, extinguish the fire

Cabin Fire on Ground

Battery master switch

Engine master switch

Main bus/Al­ter­nator

Brakes
Off (if level ground)
Evacuate the aircraft, taking fire exting­uisher
If safe to do so, extinguish the fire
 

Engine Power Loss During Take Off

Maintain safe speed (Flapless 73kts, Flaps 65kts)
Make only shallow turns to avoid obstacles
as required
Flaps
If sufficient altitude has been gained attempt a restart,
proceed with the Engine Power Loss in Flight procedure
If insuff­icient altitude has been gained to attempt a restart

Locate suitable field; plan and initiate pattern into field
